About Bill Schwyhart
Accomplished businessman Bill Schwyhart grew up in Stockton, California, the son of a gas station owner. Bill Schwyhart spent many of his early days pumping gas and driving a tow truck. After graduating from high school, he attended Delta College, while working at Sears and studying as a manager trainee at First Federal Savings & Loan.
Two years after high school, the ambitious young man purchased one-third ownership in Marshfield Chrysler Dodge in Missouri. Mr. Schwyhart attended Chrysler Management Training in Detroit. After Bill received personal counseling from Chrysler Chairman Lee Iacocca he went on to graduate at the top of his class in dealership management.
In 1982, Mr. Schwyhart purchased Hart Motor Company in Rogers, Arkansas, making him the youngest dealership owner in the history of General Motors. His company flourished and afforded him opportunities to expand his investments in the Rogers community.
